Job Description and Responsibilities

Willow Valley is hiring a Full-Time Salaried Audiologist who will provide services at a new satellite location on our campus. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, independent, a self-starter, and has good attention to detail.  Excellent customer service and adherence to the established patient care protocol is a must.

Essential Duties:

  • Hearing assessments, including comprehensive evaluations (air, bone, speech, tympanometry, other testing as indicated), and puretone air conduction screenings using computer-based audiometry. 
  • Consultations for new and repeat hearing aid users, with patient-tailored education from the standpoint of hearing and its role in cognitive health. 
  • Establish and maintain certification with third party providers: Hearing Care Solutions, TruHearing, UHC/Epic, Amplifon, and others as they arise (This practice does not sell hearing aids to patients directly. Instead, patients are enrolled in hearing aid discount/third party plans in order to offer the best pricing to each patient.)
  • Hearing aid fittings using speech mapping verification, as well as comprehensive follow up, monitoring of patient progress, and recommending additional products or professional support as indicated
  • Service/maintenance on existing hearing aids for products purchased here or elsewhere, including over-the-counter devices if requested
  • Possession of a working knowledge of all major hearing aid manufacturer’s products, software, and supplies.

  • Demonstration of excellent organization, time management, and planning skills

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Audiology from an accredited college or university, with a minimum of 5 years experience.
  • Must be licensed in Audiology by State of Pennsylvania.
