Willow Valley Communities is hiring a Summer Only Outdoor Pool Attendant to be responsible for maintaining the WVC Clubhouse outdoor activities to prevent accidents. The Outdoor Pool Attendant will maintain outdoor areas in a clean and professional manner, and provide excellent customer-focused service.

Wage:
- $15.00/hr + based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Works with Clubhouse Attendants, Concierge and Clubhouse Directors to ensure all functions for the building’s events/activities are set-up and broken-down and properly stored.
- Assists Residents and guests in proper operation of Clubhouse equipment for their enjoyment.
- Informed and trained to understand the equipment and basic maintenance of The Clubhouse amenities.
- Maintains outdoor patio areas in pleasant and safe manner including arrangement of chairs, tables and pool equipment.
- Performs guest service functions including, but not limited to, welcoming Residents and guests to the area, handing out and collecting towels and other guest requests as needed.
- Launders towels, dries clothes, etc. for Pool/Spa upkeep.
- Handles Schedule / Weekend assignments / Holiday work schedule assignments with limited assistance.
- Cautions swimmers regarding unsafe areas and weather conditions.
- Administers basic first aid.
- Inspects facilities for cleanliness and maintains order.
- Tests free chlorine (CL) and potential for hydrogen (PH) daily and temperature. Maintains accurate documentation in coordinating log book.
- Maintains tennis courts (rolling and brushing of courts and lines).
- Assists Clubhouse Café with inside/outside food/beverage service as needed. (Must be at least age 18).
- Ensures the maintenance of adequate inventory of necessary supplies to effectively perform job responsibilities.
- Washes company equipment and provides basic maintenance as assigned.
- Assists with Emergency (First) response to fire alarms / Ambulance calls.
- Maintains documentation data, when assigned, for pool/spa water temperatures and chemical testing, and eye wash station.
- Provides suggestions concerning need for major repairs or additions to building mechanical systems.
- Informs Lead Clubhouse Attendant of parts and supplies needed.
- Uses email system as needed and Microsoft Windows applications.
Qualifications:
- Lifeguard experience is a plus.
Hours:
- 12-16 hrs/week
Schedule:
- Summer only
- Day time hours
- Weekdays and every other weekend

Responsibilities:
- Completes work assigned by work order, Manager, apartment turnover schedule and painting maintenance schedule.
- Keep supervisor informed of paint and supply needs.
- Prepared all surfaces prior to painting or wallpapering as job requires or manufacturer recommends.
- Fill nail holes, cracks and joints with caulk, putty, plaster or other filler.
- Paint surfaces with brushes, spray gun, or paint rollers.
- Performs minor drywall removal, installation, finishing and repair.
Schedule:
- Full-time 7:00am-3:30pm; Mon-Fri.
Qualifications:
- Must have Residential/commercial painting experience required (other than painting in your own home)
- Must have a valid, PA driver’s license
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent social/customer service skills a must
