Willow Valley Communities is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) interested in working the weekend program, to care for Residents in Skilled Care setting under direction of nursing and medical staff.

Responsibilities:
- Flexible and adaptable to changing processes, assignments and workload.
- Utilizes a Person/Resident-Centered Care Approach when providing services to Residents, in accordance with the care plan.
- Participates in QAPI projects.
- Assists with giving guidance to newly hired Nursing Assistants using proper procedures and protocol.
- Demonstrates clinical knowledge and skills within the scope of practice, included, but not limited to:
- Follows Country Kitchen/Assist Dining Room assignments, serves and collects food trays and feeds Residents requiring assistance.
- Understands the proper/safe use of a lift and uses lifts on Residents who require them.
- Documents ADLs in Point of Care (as part of Point Click Care system) timely and accurately, using provided devices.
- Transports Residents or assists Residents to walk. Utilizes wheelchair foot pedals appropriately when transporting and stores them in wheelchair bag or in Resident closet, when not in use.
- Takes/records temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration rates, and food/fluid intake and output, as directed.
- Completes nursing maintenance walking programs and restorative nursing as needed.
- Provides postmortem care.
Qualifications:
- Certified Nursing Assistant Certification required initially and must be maintained.
- Third shift CNAs must maintain CPR certification.
- Proficient with computerized software.

- 8-24 hrs/week

Work alongside our nursing professionals as a Certified Nursing Assistant for our Independent Living Nursing Department. The CNA will provide emergency and short term care for Residents, Team Members and guests.

Wage:
- $17.00 + based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Responds to trouble calls to determine Resident needs.
- Maintains awareness of comfort and safety needs of Residents.
- Provides emergency response as needed: assists with CPR & AED response. Calls 911 if necessary.
- Responsible for giving emergency, acute and short term illness medical care to Residents following established medical directives and Resident Nursing department policies and procedures.
- Observes Residents, records significant conditions and reactions and notifies nursing team of Residents condition and reaction to drugs, treatments and significant incidents.
- Takes temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and other vital signs to detect deviations from normal. Takes finger stick blood glucose readings and monitors pulse oximetry.
- Monitors and works with Managers of Resident Services and Supportive Living Team to plan and implement changes in Level of Living.
- Assists with managing the wellness meal program for Residents.
- Runs errands, directs visitors, and answers telephone as needed.
- Maintains accurate documentation in nurses’ notes and electronic medical records (EMR).
- Enters Resident and Team Member information into the electronic data base.
- Responsible for completing Resident Incident Reports.
- Responsible to function as a Concierge when coverage is needed.
Qualifications:
- Current, active Certified Nursing Assistant certification for PA
- High School diploma or GED
- 1-3 months related experience and/or training
- Maintains current CPR/AED training
Hours:
- 24 hrs/wk

- Wages begin at $19.00-$22.25
Responsibilities:
- Care for Residents in a skilled care setting under direction of nursing and medical staff.
- Will document care on Relias computer system.
- Creates a positive, encouraging and educational environment for Team Members.
- Ensures consistency among Supportive Living Communities in all operations, policies and procedures.
- Serves as a mentor/preceptor to new Nursing Assistants during orientation and as needed.
Qualifications:
- Must have a current PA Nursing Assistant Certification
